Service Description

Piano students in Alfred's Book 1 will continue to learn about rhythm, notes values, and note reading while learning to play as a soloist and as an ensemble. In piano lab, students will learn about the inner workings of the piano, the history of the piano, and how to press harder to gain more action from real piano keys. Students will learn the very important professional skill of being able to play various types of keyboards. Blue Violin technique students in this class will also enjoy technique classes on alternating weeks at the Music Guesthouse in Ladera. **Piano Lab/Technique = Open to current Alfred's Book 1 technique students of Blue Violin Classes ONLY. Outside piano students are not accepted at this time. Piano Lab will meet twice per month as scheduled on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:15 pm at The Barbara Morrison Performing Arts Center, located in Leimert Park.

Cancelation Policy

We do not make up missed classes. Our classes are already set at phenomenally low rates, so do your best to make it to them! If an instructor has to miss class for any reason, the class will made up at a specified date to scheduled by the teacher.
